In a food processing factory that is 11 years old, a large amount of chlorine was used to suppress the growth of slime caused by bacteria in the cooling tower. To reduce the amount of chlorine being used, an "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Even with the chlorine dosage reduced to one-third, the growth of algae in the cooling tower could still be suppressed.
